Pak Chronicle Report

Rawalpindi

Pakistanis who had arrived from Tokyo, Japan and Thailand and they were asked to live in quarantine in Haji Camp, Rawalpindi are being forced to live a miserable life.

These persons are complaining about lack of all sort of facilities in the camp including soap, potable water, medicines and others.

These immigrants were taken back to Pakistan from Japan and Thailand through a special flight on Tuesday’s night.

These persons complained in a video that they are in deplorable condition although they had with them coronavirus clearance certificates.

However, according to them, they are being kept at the camp for the past four days like animals by the authorities concerned.

They complained that four police personnel are guarding them and they have no access to required medicines. Moreover, they can’t purchase these medicines from the market due to restrictions being imposed on them.

They also alleged that they are being provided with the meals in a ridiculous manner by pushing the trays under the fence.

“We purchased expensive air ticket amounting to Rs110,000 to get to our country but we are being humiliated over here and being treated as animals. From Tuesday to onwards neither any doctor nor any medical team visited us. The stock of masks has ended and there is no supply of potable water in the camp. Moreover, there are no soap and hand sanitizers over here,” they complained in the video message.

They appealed to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Chief Justice of Pakistan and Chief of Army Staff to take notice of this situation and help them to get out of this crisis like situation.
