PTV SUSPENDS JOURNALIST RIZWAN RAZI OVER DEROGATORY REMARKS

Senior Journalist Rizwan Razi Suspended from PTV Over Derogatory Remarks

Islamabad – Senior journalist Rizwan Razi, widely known as Razi Dada, has been suspended from PTV after making derogatory remarks against a particular ethnic group in one of his vlogs.

According to reports, Razi used highly offensive language in his vlog “Razi Nama,” sparking widespread criticism from viewers across the country. His remarks were deemed to have “crossed all limits,” creating distress among a large segment of the population.

In an official letter, Deputy Controller of Administration & Personnel-II Muhammad Ibrahim stated that Razi’s comments were against the spirit of national harmony and unity. The letter further declared:

“Your services are hereby suspended, and you will no longer be required to appear on air on PTV until further orders.”

Rizwan Razi, who also hosts a current affairs program on PTV News, will remain suspended pending further action by the administration.
